Semiconductor Life Safety PLC Upgrade
Migrated a semiconductor fabrication facility's life safety PLC from legacy Triconex PLCs to modern Triconex PLCs with updated EPROMS and Tristation v5.3.
Project Overview
A major semiconductor manufacturer in the Dallas-Fort Worth area needed to upgrade their legacy life safety Triconex PLC's from end-of-life EPROMS and software to the current ones.
We performed a phased migration across 2 control cabinets, converting legacy programs to the newest version of the software. The migration was executed during scheduled maintenance windows to minimize automatic life safety system downtime.
The project was completed on time with zero unplanned downtime and full validation documentation for semiconductor life safety standards.
